The Seaside of Athens is composed
of neighbourhood such as Vouliagmeni, Glyfada,
Voula and Alimos. Places like these do not
have archaeological and cultural sites to
offer but, instead, they propose the sea
and many nice sandy beaches. The beaches
are well organised with many facilities
and water sports.
With the proximity of the sea, the stay
in the area could be much more comfortable
than in the busy capital's center. The transport
from these areas to Athens or Piraeus is
easy with a taxi, a public bus or the future
tramway. This area of Athens proposes a large number
of comfortable hotels for the reason that
the airport, before moving in the area of
Spata, was located there.
The seaside area of Athens also proposes
a large range of bars and night clubs. The
huge and popular night clubs are located
along the coastline and many café
and bars are situated in the famous neighbour
of Glyfada.
